My Sis and I have been talking for years about making firecrackers for Christmas. Finally 5 years later, we were able to get to it. They are cute little crafts with candy or other goodies stuffed inside.
Supplies needed:
Now it’s time to get your tissue ready:
Measure it up. We folded the longest side three times, cut it and then folded that in half and cut it. That was length we liked, but maybe you want it longer or shorter.
Next, it was time to put the goodies in middle:
Put your favorite or their favorite goodies in there. We used candy, but here are some other ideas:
Wrap your roll with tissue
You can wrap the roll with tissue like the one above or you can layer papers so you see the different colors or different designs. There are so many cute designs on tissue paper these days.
These are so simple and you can make so many variations to it including every other holiday… Here are some of our Christmas Firecrackers:
They can be hung on the tree, passed out to family, given to teachers and classroom friends.

- Tissue Paper – The cuter the better with matching solid colors
- Candy to stuff inside
- Ribbon to tie them off
- Scissors
- Paper towel rolls (Cut into thirds)
