Visiting the dentist isn’t usually high on my list of things to do, not because we don’t like it, but because there are a lot of us to be seen. But with our recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised and I’m sharing why. Thank you to Toothfairy Pediatric Dental for sponsoring this post. Opinions given are my own.
Leading up to our visit, my youngest daughter wasn’t too excited in fact she was in tears. But I told her we are going to a new place this time and it is called Toothfairy dental or something to that effect. Her eyes lit up and I can see the questions float in her head. Once we arrived at the office in Reno, all the kids’ concerns seemed to ease.
The waiting area inside the Toothfairy Pediatric Dental is wide open and very pleasing. The girls loved the safari theme and the ability to see their sisters get their teeth cleaned.
I love their open bay concept, it allows all the siblings to watch the others getting their teeth checked and cleaned and that it isn’t such a scary thing. I think this is a big improvement and less anxiety.
The staff was very nice and patient with the girls while getting their x-rays. This was in a different section, but they were close to their sisters still. After each x-ray, Dr. Saray addressed any concerns I had and answered all my questions with a smile.
I will continue to bring our kids here because they do good work, they are kind to my children and the dentist was great! Dr. Salar was kind and had a great disposition with all of us. I wanted to go there for my own dental care.
Toothfairy Pediatric Dental has 4 locations in Northern Nevada: Gardnerville, Reno, Sparks, and Fernley. They accept all forms of insurance, including Medicaid, and they take children as young as a couple months to as old as 21. However, the Fernley location also takes adults!
